Hope Baptist is an independent Baptist church focused on bringing the Word of God to the Clearfield, Pennsylvania area. We are a church that has a passion to preach the Gospel and strengthen the people of the community by giving them hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Hope Baptist is a church that welcomes all people to come as they are, a church that provides healing for the broken, salvation and hope for the lost, and fellowship among its congregation. We are a church that recognizes that all people are created equal, and the good news of salvation is freely given to all. As a church, we place our faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Many years of combined ministry experiences have allowed us to step out in faith and start this new work for the Lord. We hope that you will come visit and see what God is doing.

During all our services, we sing traditional hymns out of hymnals accompanied by a piano, share some announcements and focus on solid Bible preaching. Wednesday nights are started in much of the same manner, giving way for prayer requests, corporate prayer, then Bible preaching.

We use the King James Version of the Bible. Hope Baptist Church believes the Bible is comprised of sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments and was given by inspiration of God. We believe, therefore, that it is inerrant and infallible. In addition, we believe that God has preserved His word as He promised, and that He has preserved it in the traditional texts. We also believe that the King James Version of the Bible is an accurate, faithful, and reliable translation of these manuscripts and that the English reader, therefore, can study it with utmost confidence and rely upon it. We can confidently say the King James Version is the inspired Word of God because the King James Bible was translated from the preserved texts.
